Psycabin Mind Expansion Series in the 15.9, 24-bit WAV format @ 2116 kbps is the Psychedelic Mind Groove submitted for your approval. The first set affects a downtempo dub with AxH and gradually builds up to the peak of intensity with a couple of new Liquid Stranger tracks. Then! the sky's the limit as we transcend dimensional space in the second set with classic Dubstep artists such as Rakoon, Emalkay, JKenzo and Kryptic Minds and some new ones that I have yet to play. It is becoming more difficult to come up with a new playlist each week because all of the classic Dubstep artists are being eclipsed by a really horrible new trend of over-modulated, not-so-slick, trendy dance music that is incredibly grating to my ears. I have resorted to playing music from compilations that are coming out every month with new Bass music. Unfortunately %90 of it is un-listenable garbage. I mix the music I have and it requires huge amounts of fresh tunes on a continuous basis. Here is a fresh Psycabin mix with well-selected music from 2012-2014. There are a couple of ooopppssses! that is because we don't pre-fabricate the mix here in the Psycabin. I could mix on Ableton and still may, there are allot of advantages to doing that. I could paste-mix the whole show and make it flawless but I prefer a live mix that reflects the magic that can happen when you mix 2 different tracks together...a remix, a new track. Enjoy! Mind Expansion Series
Two Phat Slabs o' Goodness! the samples are a bit excessive, even annoying. I do this Psycabin mix for the radio only. 89.5 KSKQ FM in Ashland Oregon to be specific, that is Saturdays 10PM-Midnight PST USA if you want to catch it live. After my show is Return to Bass which plays a Bass and Dubstep playlist until 5am PST Sunday morning. When I mix live which has been rare and infrequent, I do not use many samples. On radio I find it entertaining. It is difficult to use them tactfully, that's why I keep trying to get it jest right. Makes me want to produce my own music more. I do expect to be doing some live shows soon...see ya'll on the Playa this year! Fuk yeah!
